Hired to transport cargo across the sea, the Party wakes to commotion. A cacophony of cheering and hollering fill the air as projectiles strike the hull. The path to reach the above deck is blocked by stairways falling and walls caving in. The pages of a Bard’s final symphony litter the deck. The Captain calls for the Party to save the cargo. They traverse the foggy deck, trying their hardest to keep it together whilst salvaging as much as they can. The ship gives in from punishment, plunging the party into the abyss with just one question: who attacked them?
Things to Prepare:
- Ability Checks to avoid / endure the ascent to the deck.
- A list of cargo the party can save with varying monetary values.
- Damage numbers for if the party is hit by cannon fire.
- Obstacles and hazards for the deck of the ship.
On Success: The party is flung into the abyss carrying the cargo they saved.
On Failure: The party is flung into the abyss with nothing, potentially hurt.
Reward: Goods and Equipment of varying monetary value.
